Artificial Insemination Set Female
Standard section – align sections to fill row space.
Row section is 96″ in length. There are four rows in this set for a total of 32 cages. There are two tiers to the section, one directly over the other. Two of the row back up to the other two rows. A manure belt runs under each tier.
Frames are standing type, constructed of 1″ hot rolled square tubing with a wall thickness of 14 gauge. There is a frame every 4′ for female cages. The frames are hot dipped galvanized after welding.
Cage wire – tops, backs and sides are 14 gauge, 1″ x 2″ mesh opening, PVC coated wire.
Cage floors – the female floors are PVC coated 1″ x 1″ mesh opening. Assembly will be with galvanized rings and nylon ties.
Fronts and doors – female fronts and doors will be constructed from 9.5 gauge galvanized wire.

IMPORTANT: INITIAL CLEANING
All components of Alternative Design stainless steel products must be cleaned, sanitized and sterilized, where applicable, prior to being put into service. PVC coated wire cleaning – PVC coated wire may be heated up to 180 degrees F or 82 degrees C for cleaning and disinfecting. Cleaning solutions which contain high levels of chlorine are not recommended for stainless steel parts.
Alternative Design offers a 5-year warranty on all stainless steel fabricated products the company makes. These products are warranted to be free from material and workmanship defects during this period.
The 5-year warranty includes:
* Individually Ventilated Caging (IVC) rack frames and fabricated components
* All other stainless steel fabricated caging systems
* Fabricated material handling, storage and processing equipment made of stainless steel
